We Owe Chat GPT to Mira Murati

It had to happen- I couldn't pass up the opportunity to write about ChatGPT and this week is all about Mira Murati- the Chief Technology Officer at OpenAI and she has truly helped to spearhead the life changing technologies that we use today.
What Would You Say If... I told you that one of the most powerful AI systems in use today is in part because of Mira Murati- If you don't know who she is or her impact in furthering the developments in AI, let me explain.
After obtaining her degree in engineering and mechanical engineering- Mira Murati started off as a Summer Analyst with Goldman Sachs. She later worked her way to Tesla as a Senior PM overseeing the Model X project, which furthered her career in AI.
In 2018 she became the VP of Applied AI and Partnerships with OpenAI and last year became the CTO where she, alongside her team, continues to create dynamic ways to expand ChatGPT and face the future with answers and ease public concerns about these new developments in technology.
According to OpenAI, here's how ChatGPT works- "The GPT family of models processes text using tokens, which are common sequences of characters found in text. The models understand the statistical relationships between these tokens, and excel at producing the next token in a sequence of tokens."
This is an incredibly brief way to summarize everything that ChatGPT is capable of. The data stems from a variety of sources like books, styles, articles, various verticals, topics, and genres as well as tons of information and content from the internet itself.
It's amazing to see the developments within AI especially now- it used to be a theory but Mira Murati and her team continue to make it a powerful reality. At this rate, it's become more of a sprint than a run with AI technology for Murati- it is going very far and we're all ultimately going to be able to run even further.
